Boil Soaked Channa in a pressure cooker with 750 ml water and a tap of salt
Keep on high flame till first whistle
Keep flame low and boil for 35-40 minutes for very soft texture
Heat oil in a pan
Add onions and fry till golden brown on high flame
In between grind tomato, ginger, garlic and green chillies
Add tomato mixture keep flame medium
Add chopped coriander and whole masala and fry till oil remove on high flame...stir between
So far the gram has boiled well,
Turn off the gas
Release all pressure from cooker
Keep sieve on a bowl
Remove all water from boiled Channa
Add boiled Channa in tadka ... stir
Add 1/2 cup Channa water..stir
Keep flame low
Mash Channa with a masher
Mix well Channa in cooked tadka
Cook for 5 minutes in high flame
stir in between
Masala Channa is ready
Serve hot with chapati or Rice
